I think they are a cute twinset. Also, they would have the option of going by Annie, Belle or Anna and Addie, Della or Lina. They could use nn's that's don't sound so close if they chose to distinguish themselves. I say line, not lean.

It's a little twinny but I like both names. I pronounce Adeline the same way BtN does. The only long 'i' line I care for is Caroline.

I say it like add-ah-LINE myself. I think Annabel and Adeline (or Adelaide) would be lovely. I'm still not a fan of twins (or siblings) having the same first initial, though. :-/

ETA: If you click on Adeline, it only has the French pronunciation as -leen on the end, but the English prn. is -line (or LIEN, actually).

I'm not a fan of twins being given names that begin with the same letter. Anyway, I think your choices are fine, though I think Adeline is the far better name. I pronounce it ah-duh-LINE.

I love Adeline and pr. it Ad-el-line. I'm not really a fan of Annabel, since it's so close to my own boring name. This spelling also looks unfinished to me; I'd prefer Anabelle or Annabelle. Annabel Lee doesn't flow well for me; they kind of run into one another because the fn ends with the same sound the mn starts with. I'm not a fan of giving twins names starting in the same letter, but Annabel and Adeline are far less cutesy and matchy than, say, Dolly and Molly.

Annabel and Adeline are nice as twin sisters. I'm not fond of matching twins, but this isn't outrageously so and I'm very fond of both names. I've always said it a-duh-LINE as well.

I think Annabel and Adeline are adorable. I never noticed BtN's pronunciation of Adeline before. I've known a couple Adelines and they all pronounced it like line not lean.
