Katrin
I heard this name being called to a little girl, at first I thought she yelled ' Catering' In my area we dont prononce the E in the word very well. So it sounds similar.
At first I hated the name now its growing on me, not becuase it sounds like Catering, Now I know how to say it correct.
Anyway so wdyt?

I love Katrin when it's pronounced like how it's spelled. It's one of my favorite forms of Katherine.

What do you mean by "how it is spelled"?
The English spelling often does not tell how a name is pronounced. If you've never heard the name, you would not know if "Ka" is pronounded as Ka, Kah or Kay. The spelling does not tell if the name is stressed on the first or second syllable either.
- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball.
"I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to be spontaneous."
