I love it. I don't usually care for -ana names, but for some reason I find this adorable.

I have loved Georgiana ever since I first read 'Pride & Prejudice' and heard about Mr. Darcy's shy, sensitive, sweet younger sister Georgiana Darcy.
Another allusion from literature if that of Jane's bossy, spoild cousin, Georgiana Reid in 'Jane Eyre' and that gives an impression of the name being fussy. But I think it's elegant, regal, sweet, and very pretty! Recently I have been liking Georgiana, Georgina and Georgia with the nickname Georgie. George seems heavy on a boy but I think these names are lovely on a girl! Some of my favorite combos are Georgia/Georgina Alice.

Georgiana Darcy is the reason I like the name too. What do you think of that as a fn mn combo? Georgiana Darcy.

It's growing on me because of Georgiana Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. I also have a friend named Georgina who is very sweet. I wouldn't use it however, because George- names don't have a pleasant sound to my ears, especially on little girls.
