Nina
This name just popped into my head. What do you think of Nina? Nora has always been a favorite of mine, but I'm getting a bit concerned about the popularity. Nina is much less used, I think. Middle name suggestions?

I like both Nina and Nora, they're both sweet names - I find them quite charming, myself. If I had to choose between them, I would probably go for Nina.Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

The problem with Nina is that you never know whether the bearer pronounces it NINE-ah or NEE-nah.
I've known several of both.

Yeah, that's true. I only like the nee-nah prn myself. Nine-ah is interesting, but not one I'd choose.

Nina's higher on the popularity charts than Nora, and it's been used more frequently over a longer period of time. It might be less popular in your area, but overall, it looks like it's been the more popular choice.Personally, I don't like Nina--it sounds a bit whiny and little-girl-ish to me. I have a soft spot for Nena, though, thanks to the singer. :) In any case, I far prefer Nora, which I think is really lovely.Array

Awww...Nina Juliet is darling, especially since my name is Julie! My son has my husband's first name as his middle name, so it would be nice to get a child named after me, somehow. (Hypothetical daughter. I'm not pg.)
Alice is another favorite, but I like it enough to make it a first name.

Nina ElissaI like both Nora and Nina, though I think Nina is more a name for a little girl than a grown woman.
