I like Edmond much more than Edmund. It's in one of my favorite combos as a mn: Francis Edmond. Eddie is a good nn. It reminds me of Eddie Izzard. =)
I have no idea if you found a good mn for Walter, but I thought of Walter Baruch a few days ago. I dunno if you like Baruch or not, but it's been growing on me lately.
As for a mn for Edmond, wdyto... ?

I'm not sure how I feel about Baruch. I'll have to think about it. I've been so utterly scattered lately that I still haven't found a really perfect middle name for Walter. :( I'm still looking, though!
