Morwenna
Do you like the name Morwenna? I do, but have always got negative responses to it before, so I'd be wary of ever using it :-( Pronunciation is mawr-WEN-uh. And WDYTO these combinations?Morwenna Lake
Morwenna Juliet
Morwenna Hope
Morwenna Briar (or Brier ... the word itself is spelled either way, and the name too ... I think Brier looks softer, and prefer it)

I don't really like it too much, it sounds a bit garbelled to me what with the mawr sound at the beginning. Like morena actually which sadly means dark-haired in Spanish but I think it sounds pretty. Out of those I like Morwenna Lake just because Lake is such an interesting mn. Morwenna Hope works well I suppose though I dislike the name Hope. Juliet is too much for the name it needs something very short and simple, Briar (and yes I prefer Brier too) is also just a bit too long or a bit off. I think the name really needs just one syllable.

I think it sounds sort of sinister, sorry! I imagine a dark person from the Harry Potter books, especially the combo Morwenna Lake. Morwenna Hope is my fave.

I would never use Morwenna, but there's something appealing about it. I like Juilet, Hope and Briar / Brier as mns - Lake doesn't work for me, I think because Morwenna is too close to Morgana, who was lady of the Lake . . . you get the idea :-DSomething a bit similar which I like and *would* use is Morna.
