Opinion on name...
For years now I have loved the name Milo. What does everyone think of Milo for a boy?My best friend said, "He'd have to be a pretty attractive kid... which would be plausible if you and your boyfriend stay together."Another common thing I get is, "Like Milo and Otis?" Anyway around this one?

In Australia...... this is actually the name of a chocolate drink. Needless to say, I still love the name immensely.

Milo is my favorite name for a boy. It has that quirky yet handsome quality that I adore.

I love Milo! I think it's adorable but yet would age perfectly fine. Hehe, I *adored* Milo and Otis as a toddler... It was my absolute favorite. However, I don't think many people now-a-days would immediatley think of that.

I really like the name, but only spelled as Mylo. I actually never knew or saw the spelling Milo until I came here. I've only seen it and know of a boy with this name, always spelling as Mylo.I think Mylo is a much nicer spelling.Lissa

I like it, I guess. I've never met anybody named Milo, and I've never heard Milo & Otis used before . . . Anyway, I like the name.

I like the name, but it reminds me of cats. When I was young, I had a friend named Melanie. She had two cats, Emmy and Milo.I adored Milo, he was a ball of energy.Any time a name starts with the mie sound, I think of cats.

I do think of Milo and Otis. I also think of feet. Maybe because Otis sounds like odor. Is there a kind of foot powder that sounds like Milo? Do you ever have those weird association that you can't figure out where the heck it came from?I like Miles though and I don't dislike Milo. It just is a funny name. Very humorous... a good pet's name.

I know an eight-year-old boy named Milo. He's a monster, but absolutely adorable, so for me the name has good connotations. As far as I know, know one has ever mentioned anything about Milo and Otis to him--I don't think it's a problem. It's great name, anyway!

I love Milo! I had a second or third grade teacher named Greg Milo (Milo is the surname). He was one of my all time favorite teachers. I also didn't even know about Milo and Otis until I asked what people thought of the combo Felix Milo. I think if it was paired with a handsome and probably slightly more classic name it could be great, although I love it regardless. I don't associate Milo at all to Milo and Otis. When I was 9 or so, Milo was my absolute favourite name. Then I went through a period of not liking it. But just the other day, I happened to be thinking about it, and I really do like the sound. It's a nice name, and a great alternative to Michael. I like it a lot! :-)
