Caemlyn & Gracen
WYDT of Caemlyn as a girl's name?
What about Gracen for a boy (named after Grace)?

I don't like either.
What about Gracelyn for a girl. And, Gregory for a boy.

Caemlyn looks very trendy and made up. Grayson / Greyson is nice for a boy with these spellings. Gracen looks really trendy and the spelling makes it seem girly.

Ugh... Caemlyn is atrocious. It is banal, as it follows the ever common, lackluster trend of attaching -lyn to any girl's name. Gracelyn, Caemlyn, Jailyn... all names without inspiration.Gracen looks and sounds feminine. What about Gratian? It has the same entomology as Grace, looks and sounds strong and isn't yet another bandwagon name.

Wow Gratian is a great name. I like it. I think it sounds nicer, and still honors the name Grace.---------------------------------------------------------------------My Favorite Names:Girls: Sabriel, Serafina, Augustine, Katriana, Arianna, Adelina, Audriana, Catriona, Josceline, Avianna, Mariana, Artemis, Taianna, Genevieve, and Keira.Boys: Keiran, Quinn, Silas, Gavin, Aidan, Vincent, Cedric, Rowan, Mica, Xavier, Ian, Finley, Damian, Laika, and Kaidan.

I'm torn, I prefer traditional spelling for the most part but I make exceptions for honouring as would be the case with Grace / Gracen. However, I think I still prefer Grayson and only Grayson, sorry. How would Caemlyn be pronounced? What about Camryn or Kamdyn, both have a similar look, are not spelled traditionally but have very common pronounciations?

They are both ok names. I like the way Caemlyn looks kind of but it is hard to decide how to say it. Caemline looks better more pleasing to my eye though. Gracen doesn't look as nice to me as Grayson/Graysen or Greyson/Greysen but even if you spelt it Gracen people would probably pronounce it right. As for the way the names sound they both sound pretty nice especially Caemlyn said (CAME-lyn).---------------------------------------------------------------------My Favorite Names:Girls: Sabriel, Serafina, Augustine, Katriana, Arianna, Adelina, Audriana, Catriona, Josceline, Avianna, Mariana, Artemis, Taianna, Genevieve, and Keira.Boys: Keiran, Quinn, Silas, Gavin, Aidan, Vincent, Cedric, Rowan, Mica, Xavier, Ian, Finley, Damian, Laika, and Kaidan.

Caemlyn is really hard for me to like. Are you saying came-lyn or ca-me-lyn? I just find the look of it unappealing and since I'm not sure how you are pronouncing it, I can't say what I think about that! Camille would be a name you might like if you like Caemlyn. I think that Gracen would be forever mistaken for a girl. If that doesn't bother you, then it would be fine as it is. The sound is a little weak for my taste, but then I'm not thrilled by Grace either. If you are trying to honor Grace, what about Grayson or Greyson? They are not derivatives or relatives of the name, but the sound is similar to Gracen (I say them almost identically).

Caemlyn looks really made up, babyish and ugly to me. I don't know how to pronounce it, and it doesn't have a meaning. Your child would be forever dated to this time period. Not to mention it has a random pointless -lyn ending like every other trendy name.Gracen looks extremely feminine to me. What about Zayn, which means grace, or another boys name that has the same meaning as Grace's middle name? Grayson / Greyson is also an acceptable boy's name with essentially the same pronunciation.

I don't care for Caemlyn. It is hard to pronounce and it just doesn't look right. I don't like the spelling of Gracen for a boy. I prefer the spelling Greyson, Greysen or Grayson as they look more masculine.
