It's a cute name, but it seems to be better suited for pets. My grandma's dog is named Penny. I call her Penelope, Nella, and Nellie as well. She's very cute and friendly. I also had a teacher with the first name Penny, so I can picture it on a person as well.

Yeah, I'm still not sure if I want to save it for a dog or use it on a child. I've had it in my mind as a dog name for so long!
