I really hate the first syllable of Rupert. It sounds like vomiting and also reminds me of whooping cough.

I think of the character Rupert Giles (played by Anthony Stewart Head) from "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer", which definitely isn't a bad association (at least for me). :)

I like the way the name looks and sounds, as well as its meaning. I think it's much more sophisticated than Robert, plus it isn't all that common, so a child named Rupert would definitely stand out. :)

I myself am seriously considering naming one of my future sons Rupert, by the way - so I'm a little bit biased about the name. ;)

I actually like the name Rupert. It looks and sounds nice. But i will forever more remind me of The actor that plays Ron Weasley in the HP movies, so it has been ruined for me. It's not that i don't like him, but i would prefer not to think of anyone!

I think it is the most god awlful name you could ever name a child. Never punish a person like that.

Aw.... none of my sims have had babies yet. They have pets though. Scout (female dog), Smudge (male dog) and Cinnamon (female cat).
