I love both Clare and Clarisse, but the spelling Clarice just bugs me. Which is too bad, because it was Clarice Starling who made me love the name--but I would have to spell it Clarisse and insist that it was in her honour anyway. ;)

I agree with many others that Clare would make a good mn, but Clarice would be a beautiful first name. I think it's gorgeous so Clarice gets my vote.
