Hekaterine - "Katie, Kate, Teri" ...feminine
Hekas - "Kassie or Kas" ...feminine
Hekos - "Kos" ...masculine
Aikaterine - "Kaia, Kate, Kaita, Katie, Kaitie, Teri...etc." ...could be unisex... i think its more feminine though.
Aikia - "Kia" ...could be unisex, more fem.
Katharos - could be unisex more male.
Hekateros - male?
Katerina - Katrina? close... Katrina, fem.
Katharina - fem. love it!
Katerine - love it! fem.

I love Hecate. I love the way it sounds, and I also really like the ancient Greek goddess (the big myth nerd I am) so I find this name all-around appealing. I definitely don't find it unisex at all, though, since I've always thought of Hecate as a particularly feminine goddess.

I don't like Hecate at all. It sounds ugly to my ears.I like:
Aikaterine
Katerina
Katharina
Catherine

Hecate is kinda cool! I could see it as aunisex somehow.Although being associated with witchcraft/demons/etc is why this name puts me off big time.GO PORTUGAL

Hecate? You very much surprise me.You do know the meaning / reference of Hecate, don't you? Demons, the underworld, that sort of thing? You're one of the last people I would expect to go for such a name. I mean, really, seriously, I'm shocked.~Lillian~

Yes it has to do with that stuff that's why I said it puts me off of the name. But if looking at it, and the way it wounds it looks cool.GO PORTUGAL
