I prefer Lydia. Cordelia is a bit too frilly for me.

I love both but slightly prefer Lydia. Cordelia is a tad bit on the frilly side for me, though I do like it a lot. I also fear, though, that people would assume that, if I named a daughter Cordelia, that I was a huge Buffy fan. :b Which I was, mind you, but that wouldn't be my reason for using the name. LOL.

Tough question. I like them both a lot, but I guess I prefer Lydia, if only because I can easily see it on an actual person. Cordelia is beautiful but not entirely plausible, especially on, say, a five-year-old, at least from my perspective.

Since I'm just now reading King Lear and I love the character, I will say Cordelia for now. Lydia is lovely, too, though.
