Girls: Winter is my favorite. I actually have it on the long list of would-be daughter name ideas. I would call her Winter Ophelia, strikingly cold but beautiful, like a snow princess. I also really like Winifred / Winnie as a second runner-up. Though I mostly like it best in the context of a G/G twin idea for Beatrice. I think Winifred and Beatrice are perfect bookend type names that match styles and vibe perfectly without being too matchy in sound. If we dip into the more abstract I also like Wisteria, Winifreda, Winona (love it as a MN), Wren, Wynn / Wynne (MN Only), Wrenna, Windy and Winika in a GP-type way. I don't truly love and male W names but I do like a few. Wade, Warren, Wayne, Waldo, Winston, Wolf. But again, mostly as middle-fodder than first name material for me. A fun bridge but not the desired destination.Edit: I forgot I am still slightly partial to Wesley / Westley because of The Princess Bride, but it still isn't my favorite anymore since meeting several that were of questionable character.

I don't mind Willow it's just not my favorite. I used to hate it but softened slightly after I had a coworker with a particularly sweet little girl named it.
Understandable everyone has a different taste, also I forgot to put Wendy,i love it too♡
I love Wren for a boy
I used to too! Then I saw how popular it is as a girls' name and gave up. Now I prefer Ren 😅

Not a lot. Wendy and Winona; Wallace, Walter and William. The only one I'd consider using is William, a family name for many generations.
