Evi is the common form of the name where I live but I always feel like I'm missing the E at the end.
It's odd really bc don't have that feeling with
Levi (and they rhyme in my language).
I also once met a man named Bé (BAY, literally the sound of the letter B.). I assumed it was a nickname when I heard it, but it wasn't.
I don't have a problem per se with nicknamey names, I honestly think it's weirder to name your child "
Christopher" if you have no intention to ever call him that and only ever use "
Chris".
Ann also feels incomplete to me. The double N at the end makes me sort of wait for the ending E that isn't there.
