Evi is the common form of the name where I live but I always feel like I'm missing the E at the end.It's odd really bc don't have that feeling with Levi (and they rhyme in my language).I also once met a man named Bé (BAY, literally the sound of the letter B.). I assumed it was a nickname when I heard it, but it wasn't.
I don't have a problem per se with nicknamey names, I honestly think it's weirder to name your child "Christopher" if you have no intention to ever call him that and only ever use "Chris".
Ann also feels incomplete to me. The double N at the end makes me sort of wait for the ending E that isn't there.
