Lately I've been browsing dime novels that are in the public domain; the "beach reads" of the 1890s. I've come across heroines named Neva twice. I looked up the name, and it was actually fairly popular back in the day, reaching a peak ranking of #212 in 1898 in the US. It's currently pretty popular in The Netherlands, and VERY popular in Turkey. What do you think of Neva?
