I'm working on a play currently, a murder mystery with the main characters being members of a band. I'm trying to incorporate a few Shakespearean aspects to the story and thought using the characters could be a cool way to do that.
The six characters I have are:
- The lead guitarist inspired by
Othello, the first to die
- The bassist inspired by
Hamlet, the second to die
- The drummer inspired by
Caesar, the third to die
- The rhythm guitarist inspired by
Lysander, the fourth to die
- The lead singer inspired by
Macbeth, the last to die
- The songwriter inspired by
Romeo, the lead singer's brother and the killer
I'd like the names to relate to the characters in some way, I'm not picky, whether it's meaning, origin, or just vibes.
Apologies for the odd request!
