dream name: Alaric Hawthorne
Alaric Hawthorne was a character in my dream last night. What do you think of the names, together and separately? What would you name a brother and sister?

I like Alaric, and with Hawthorne as a middle name, I love it. For a brother, maybe Augustus Constantine? For a sister... something stately and classic, but in an unexpected way. How about Katherine Angharad?
I like Alaric, though it's not my style. Hawthorne, I might use if it were a family surname, but not unless.

It's really weird that you dreamed about Hawthorne, because I was thinking about early American writers this morning .. Ralph Waldo Emerson, Walt Whitman, Henry David Thoreau, D.H. Lawrence, and ... Nathaniel Hawthorne (and more) ... and I was going to make a poll with these names, but decided to give it more thought. No joke.
I like your two names! I'm not sure if they quite go together (imo), but I like them both a lot separately (though I do think Alaric sounds like a bit like allergic at times).

Wow, I've never encountered Zenoby or Lamorna before! This is a fantastic set :)
It sounds straight from a British classic, maybe by one of the Bronte sisters?. It’s a handsome name!
