Eilidh is so cute! So nice to see a little Edith. Santino is adorable, I love that name so much. Hamish too! It's such a fuzzy sweater of a name. I like most of the boys names, actually. The only one I'm "meh" about is Robert, although I have to admit the idea of a little Bobby is starting to be appealing again.... And ok, if I met a baby named Bob I would LOVE that.It seems that taste is definitely taking a turn to the old-fashioned where you are - Kayleigh and Ariya look positively out of place in this lineup!
A lot of Celtic names that I had to look up pronunciations for. I love traditional cultural names, so those are all great.Ariya... I'm not a fan of. It looks like the parents were going for Aria, but wanted a "unique" spelling, which is a trend I will never understand. (Apologies if it's the standard spelling where it's used).Ivy is a lovely name for its own sake, but it has a bit of a trendy vibe going, which costs it some points. No stand-outs on the boy's side.
Ariya- nice Aria variant.
Eloise- I LOVE Eloise. It's such a lovely name.
Afiyah- I... don't know how to feel. I kind of hate it, but also, it's kind of funky in a good way.
Ivy- Love this name. I'm just really attached to plant names, and Ivy is so elegant.
Eilidh- Interesting.
Lydia- I really like this name. It reminds me of Aria, I think it's the "-ia".
Kayleigh- It's okay. One of the few "-leigh" names I like better than the "-ley" original.
Edith- Nice. Kind of dated, but it's a decent name with plenty of nickname options.
Finlay- LOVE Finlay. It's a good name on boys and girls imo.
Jude- Just makes me think of the hospital.
Hamish- It's okay. It reminds me of meat. And Edith.
Santino- I like it, but I don't love it.
Arthur- I've always associated this name with the cartoon.
Elliott- LOVE Elliott. 10/10 zero notes
Ollie- Short for Oliver? I like it either way, but diminutives as full names kind of eek me out.
Mylo- Wish it were just Milo.
Robert- It's okay.
Darragh- Sounds like a scream. I don't like it very much.
I love Hamish and Arthur; Robert is a family name, and Darragh is very pleasant, but stormy.Eloise is the ony girl name I really like a lot. Eilidh and Kayleigh together are a lesson in the unpredictable English spelling "system"!
