Re: Uriah and Uriel
I like Uriel, but pronounced with an oo instead of a yoo. I also like the variant Orel- which also means "eagle" in my langauge. I prefer Uriel over Uriah. Both of their listed pronounciations remind me of Yuriy. And also, U and Z as unusual initials? Are they really in the English speaking world? There's so many Z names in my country, and while there's not many U names, there is a popular one. I could see U being unusually but really Z?

Yes.The only popular z names I can think of are Zachary and Zoe. Zara, Zelda, Zane - those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head that i've heard.
Where I live we have Zoya, Zinayida, Zinoviya, Zinoviy, Zoreslav, Zoreslava, Zakhar, Zakhariy
There's also less popular Zoryana, Zorislava, Zirka, Zlata
And theres the names that don't start with z, they start with zh, but it's the same letter in English; Zhanna, Zhenya (nickname)
