Re: Pets names
in reply to a message by Anya Mel’nik or Mel’nyk
I've previously had a few "family pets" that were named by my parents or my siblings. They were simple names like Danny, Gizmo, or Abby. I'm not personally fond of human names on animals except for very specific circumstances (EX I think "Chad" and "Kevin" are kind of funny names for a cat, and "Mario" would be a fun name for a mustache cat) and I usually like either food names or cutesy names. Something something, rate my cat names list. My two current cats are named Kosher and Mochi. Kosher was his name when we adopted him- I thought it was cute and couldn't think of something better so I kept it. Mochi I named on my own because she's soft and squishy, just like real mochi.

Isn't kosher a thing about Jewish rules?
