"Stepfine"? And I thought the Soviets were bad with their made up names (I mean some of them were worse than Stepfine but I'd rather be named Avksoma or Dazmira or Astrela or something than Stepfine.)
I'd assume Stepfine is a variant based of Stepfanie, which is still weird, but infinitely better than Stepfine.
