Octomom's 14 kids' names
Replies
Seems kind of lazy to give all the kids Angel as a middle name. She couldn't be bothered to think of individual names.
Unsurprising that this selfish POS has bad taste. Some of the names are individually nice -- I like Caleb, Jonah, and Josiah very much -- but all together these are way too matchy-matchy and self-consciously Old Testament.
These sure are names, I guess. I feel very bad for all the Angels, and for Elijah Mikai and Mikai Angel, for kind of sharing a name. These are names that will be used by real people, but they feel like a collection of dolls.
I do like Josiah and I love Yasmeen. I like Calyssa and Amerah, too, if I'm pronouncing them right (Calyssa like Calista without the t, and Amerah like Amira).

I love the name Angel but reusing it 7 times comes off as pseudo-religious. Makai is fine, I see that it has been used twice.
I like Elijah Makai. Elijah is one of my favorite Biblical names.
Joshua Jacob is a good set. JJ is a cute nickname. I love Jacob and think that Joshua is decent. I prefer the nickname JJ to Josh or Jake.
I like the name Aiden a lot. It's weird that he's the only one with no middle name. I'm guessing that the older kids are from a different man.
I like Arielle.
Caleb Kai is okay as a set. I like both names independently, too.
I like Noah, Isaiah, Jonah, Josiah and Jeremiah. I think she has good taste overall, with the Biblical names in particular. Maybe she called the octuplets Angel because she thinks of them like her little cherubs? I have no clue.
I would have done, perhaps:
Aiden Richard
----
Noah Clinton
Maliyah Marie
Isaiah King
Neriyah Haven
Jonah Casimir
Makai Joseph
Josiah Malcolm
Jeremiah Henry

This was actually a person that gave birth to 8 babies at once! They gave her the name Octomom.
I think she dropped the ball on the childrens names. But each to their own. I guess she had her reasoning for naming them what she did. It's hard to believe they are 15 now.

You can kind of tell by the names the woman was ... unbalanced, to say the least. I mean, she reuses names and gives the whole set of eight the same Angel as a mn, like they're characters in some sick kind of Sims game.
Uh, that's a lot of interesting names...
I'm going to ignore the middle names for the rating, because I don't really like middle names. Anyways:
Elijah- it's alright.
Amerah- can we drop the h?
Joshua- eh.
Aiden- eh.
Calyssa- I have never heard this name before. It's alright.
Caleb- I personally don't like the name Caleb.
Noah- it's alright.
Maliyah- I thought it was Arabic.
Isaiah- this name was always hard to say and spell, but other than that it's alright.
Neriyah- confusing.
Jonah- it's alright.
Makai: it makes me think of the Wagner PMC, not exactly sure why.
Josiah- eh.
Jeremiah- eh.
In short, most of them are a 5/10.

Fourteen lost opportunities. She fixates on the names, sounds and syllables that she likes! Lots of J names, and then Elijah Makai; Caleb Kai; Makai Angel ... the biblical names are better than the rest, though I don't particularly like them. Amerah? Maliyah? Neriyah?
Makai is the only octoplet without an a ending and strange they all have the same mn and Aiden has no nn
And that Makai has been used before
And that Makai has been used before

They're very rhymey, repetitive, trendy-religious, and it's weird Aiden doesn't have a middle name.
Most of the individual names are ok. Yasmeen, Arielle, Joshua, Elijah, Isaiah, Noah are my favorites. My least favorites are Caleb, Calyssa, Aiden, Jacob, Josiah.
