Blessing & Miracle
In today’s newspaper are a couple Gabriel and Basetsana from Johannesburg, South Africa. Basetsana didn’t find out she was pregnant until she reached five months and was told the baby was a boy. Around a month before their baby was due the doctors became worried that there was too much fluid and sent her to a specialist for further testing. The specialist took one look at her and Basetsana it was twins. A week later Basetsana gave birth to twins Blessing (b) and Miracle (g). The twins joined older sister Adorable. I think the names go well together and find them appealing though I wouldn’t use them myself. WDYT of the names?

Blessing I have only known as a girl name when I have come in contact with it, so it seems too feminine for a boy to me. Miracle I am okay with in an abstract way. I would consider it in the middle spot if I was feeling particularly inclined towards it because of circumstance that seemed miraculous. I once knew a girl named Miracle, named for being a surprise baby in her mom's mid- 40's when the other siblings were teens. I would not want to be "Adorable" passed age 8. "Beauty" or "Pretty" as I have also known would have longer standing power for a woman. Adorable is too infantile based childhood.

I like that the couple was so grateful to have healthy children. It seems like they're really loved. However, the style is so out-there for me. I do like word-names, but I would avoid adjectives or spiritual words because I think they carry a lot of weight. All of the names suit each other.
Adorable, Blessing & Miracle are not names. I feel sorry for these kids. At least they can use nicknames like Les, Dora and Mira if needed.
Keeping in mind that culturally South Africa is known for being very "word name" heavy, so it's not that unusual tbh.
I wouldn't feel sorry, those names are pretty normal where they're from. It's not likely they'll be treated any differently or any worse when their classmates are named Sunday and Gracious.
I've met a lot of families from countries near South Africa, but not actually South Africa, like DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe and these kind of religious sounding word names are not too uncommon, especially on girls, though Adorable is a new one. I don't like that one at all. I've met several girls named Believe and Grace, girls named Blessing, Eternity, Miracle, Promise, Sincere, Serenity, and boys named Lord and Archange (archangel). They go together, but these are not names I would use at all, except Grace and maybe Serenity, but Adorable, Blessing and Miracle would not be names I would use.
I like Miracle. Blessing and Adorable are a little much for me, but I see the appeal.
They actually go well. I wouldn't use them but I like all three, Miracle being my favourite. Word names aren't rare at all in English-speaking Africa - one could find Goodwill, Witness, Memory, Gift, Knowledge, Immaculate, Comfort...
Blessing, Miracle, and Adorable are all such blunt names, I think that's what irks me about them - they are kind of dull, despite being unexpected. I don't mind word names, but these ones are so basic. I try to appreciate them as cultural, but personally I would rather see names that have the meaning of blessing, miracle and adorable, but aren't the words themselves. I think I just find them to be rather boring, ugly words, despite their lovely meanings.
They do "go with" Adorable very well, though!

The moment I saw your heading, I thought 'This looks local', and sure enough. I've never seen a reference to Adorable locally, but Blessing and Miracle do happen. I've just been flicking through a local community news site which is mostly adverts; these are the only word-names I could find, going back a week. I'd expected more. All male:
Admire
Blessing
Lovemore
Thank

I kind of like Blessing and Miracle, though maybe not as a sibset. Interestingly, this summer I met a couple who had a surprise baby daughter after 4 sons and named her Benedetta, which translates as “blessed.”
On the other hand, Adorable is terrible. What if she’s anything but? It also looks very awkward on an adult. Maybe she can go by Adora or something.

Adorable, Blessing & Miracle are word names that go well together. However, I don't know if they would be easy names to bear in real life. Also, Blessing sounds more like a girl to me.
