Help me out with some first names for the middle name Alis please!
I’ve always loved the name Alice. Classic, pretty, with a touch of whimsical to it. But I was talking with a guy I’m into at the moment who’s name is Alan (pretty unusual for boys of this generation I feel like) and in my head I wondered what if we combined Alan + Isis = Alis! for a daughter. What do you guys think? Cheesy? Cute? Acceptable? No opinion at all? Have you ever seen parents combine two names? On that note.. how do you feel about Alis itself? Never liked the spelling much but it doesn’t seem so bad 3 years later lol.I’m trying to find some first names for Alis and I’m having a bit of a hard time. Any ideas? I’m not on here as often as I’d like to be anymore but my love for names is yet to fade lol.

I think it is pretty, but I prefer Alice(which I would seriously consider using) or Alys. As far as a first name, maybe Sophia Alis?
I like Alys better. A lot better, so I'm going to use that spelling in the combos. You could use Alanna Isis instead of Alis.Aubrey Alys
Bryony Alys
Carrie Alys
Daphne Alys
Elspeth Alys
Emerson Alys
Sheridan Alys
Evelyn Alys
Paisley Alys
Summer Alys
Noelani Alys
Sloane Alys
Cute! I usually prefer Alice to Alis but I like the story behind your choice of Alis. I'm in Czechia, and I know a couple named Radmila and Jaromír who have a son Radomír. I think it's a lovely way to honor both parents as long as the result looks like a legit name and not like a forced mashup of names.
Alis is nice and neat, but I'd personally prefer Alanis or Alison. I'm into longer names, lol. From your PNL, I think these flow well with Alis: (* = my favorites)Cleo Alis*
Genevieve Alis
Isadora Alis
Leocadia Alis *
Luna Alis
Lydia Alis
Miranda Alis *
Saoirse Alis *
Séraphine Alis
Sophia Alis
Sylvia Alis *
Vivienne Alis *
Yvette Alis *
Zoë Alis*Other ideas:Veronica Alis
Daphne Alis
Marion Alis
Isobel Alis
Sierra Alis / Sienna Alis

Alis looks like two spelling mistakes for the price of one. Neither Alice nor Alys. I would never consider using it, but then, I'm fussy about spelling.
Cute! I really like the thought of combining the parents names to create their child’s name and yours is vet acceptable!I really like Alis Fleur because the name reminds me of fleur-de-lis, but I think most people won’t see the connection so it’s like a little secret. To take the fantasy further you could have cute fleur-de-lis bedding* for the crib and tattoo a tiny fleur-de-lis on your ankle.* https://www.etsy.com/listing/566602811/IMG-2645
Don't really like it, what about Alanis
