The weirdest spelling (which is saying a lot due to the number of multiple variant spellings I've seen over my at least three decades) is when I had someone tell me my own name was spelled weird. My name is Amanda. Person telling me this was also named Amanda only spelled Ahmahnduh. It broke me for awhile at age ten. It was during a girl scout event. I was a Junior scout.

In a way, I get it. There are a lot of names I didn’t know were spelled weirdly growing up because they were the only spellings I’d seen.
The first time I met a DAN-YELL it was Danyel, and when I saw Danielle I thought that Danyel was normal and Danielle was some silly floofy frilly version.
