Baby Keith!
I couldn't believe it! A baby in the supermarket called Keith! WDYT? Have you heard any unexpected names recently on a baby?

Replies

I haven't personally heard it but I was looking at the top 1000 names and saw Cash was surprisingly popular. Not sure if it was after a last name like Johnny Cash or the money either way it seemed odd to me. I couldn't believe it was beating out names like Douglas... I shared that with someone in Healthcare who said they had a baby by that name once
I have a friend who has 2 year old twins named Herbert and Charlene and yesterday I heard some people talking about their 1 year old daughter Betty Lou.
Herbert and Charlene! And Betty Lou! Amazing.
Boring and outdated.
It makes me wonder if he's a Jr. since the name isn't heard much now a day for babies.
I think the name is very handsome on a boy, and I'm happy to hear of this!
Keith is a cute name!
I've been coming across lots of Ophelias, and it seems like it's the latest trend. It's a beautiful name.
I’m pretty biased as it’s my older brother’s name so of course I like it for that reason but regardless I would be thrilled to meet a baby Keith!
It's not my style at all, but I prefer it to Kyle, Craig, and the like!ETA: A friend of a friend named her baby Deborah "Didi" after her mom.

"Deb" on a toddler would be amazing
Aww a baby named Deborah, how cute! I hope they pronounce it with three syllables though. Didi is a cute nn too.
I actually hate the name Keith but even I think that's pretty cute. I don't spend much time around babies anymore, but the last unexpected name I heard on a kid was Veda.
I think that is actually very refreshing!
That's absolutely splendid! The world should contain many more Keith people of all ages, but a baby one is a total treat. Especially as the most recent babies I know of are named Sophie and Ayla. If I'd had another son, one of his mns would have been Keith, partly because it's a good name but mostly because of a wonderful friend with that name who is dying by inches of a horrible degenerative disease that is incurable, and because he was a professor of medicine while he could still work, he knows exactly what is happening to him and what will come next. It's a heartache.
