Daphne Dinah or Delilah
Looking at some less traditional names feom the Bible than Mary and Martha. What do you think about them? Do you like any? dislike any? Order your preference and maybe share some middle name ideas if you dare

Not sure if you have e been reading my comments but woe you got alot of my family names in there 🤯 Cora Dephine and Roxanne are all family names over here 🤣 I think Daphne Cora and Dinah Roxanne sound good!
If they were in three separate lists, they'd each come first! But since they're in the same list, I'd have to go:
Delilah - most scope for nicknames, least scope for teasing (that I can think of)
Dinah - It's been a GP for quite a while, even though it sounds like a place you go to eat
Daphne - Still a lovely name, but it has the most scope for 'bad' nicknames

Looking at there Bible stories, Delilah sold her boyfriend, and Dinah was a rape victim. Wasn't Daphne used as a place name in the Bible? Her story from classical myth is also tragic. Daphne is the best of the trio. Delilah is the worst unless it is for a treacherous cat.
What do you think of Damaris or Drusilla? They are women briefly mentioned in the Bible. Deborah (a judge and prophetess) might be dated as a name, but she was an interesting character.
Other Biblical girl names you may like: Miriam, Jemima, Huldah, Hadassah, Esther, Lydia, Phoebe, Chloe, Joanna, Susanna.

Esther is the only Big character name I like for girls but I don't like that it is just myrtle tree. I also dislike that it was her babylonian name not her actual name. I would consider Haddasah as a name not sure what middle names I would select we have done family names as middle names. We were going to name my son Chloe if he was a girl but I had a friend name her daughter basically the same name we had picked out a month before he was born fn and mn so we had the dilemma of do we find a new name or not. I don't think we would have changed it but we didn't consider it again for my 2nd. I would still like Chloe but we would need to do a new middle name with it so I'm not sure I would find one I prefer over our original choice. I don't really like Joanna but there is enough family names like Johanne Joanne Anne etc I would maybe consider using it. Maybe more in a middle name place. I do kind of like Zipporah and Jacobed (less so than Zipporah) but I don't think I would realistically use either
Esther meaning star is nice
What mn did you have decided on previously

Chloe Faye
Not that I couldn't use it again but my daughters middle name is Faye so it would be used for 2 kids.
My great Grandmother was a Stella (star). Her name would be fun as a middle name but I'm not sure I know what would complement it.
Hannah Stella
Haddasah Stella
Anne Stella
Esther Stella would probably be a bit much.
I also like Sophie which was another great grandmother.
Our last name is an S but I don't care as much for girls about the flow because they get married and traditionally change it. My name went really well together with my maiden name not so much after I got married

I don’t recall Daphne being in the Bible at all. I’m not a big fan of Dinah and certainly not Delilah, so I’d go with Daphne.

I named a little black rescue cat Dinah, because we already had a cat named Alice. We all came to like the name a lot: there was also a 19th-century human Aunt Dinah whom I know nothing about. I'd like it for a human.
Daphne sounds better than Delilah, which I really don't enjoy. Daphne ... wouldn't it shorten to Daffy? I don't think I'd risk it.
Dinah Suzanne
Dinah Harriet
Dinah Gillian
Dinah Margaret
Dinah Louise

I think it is just a genealogy not any kind of signigicant story
I'd like to know where the genealogy is
It came up in a name list suggestion of Bible names I did. When I Google it it gives Genesis 11:1-9 as the reference. A decendent of Cain listed in the tower of Bable story.
Ok, but when i look those verses up i couldn't see it
