I was looking through the history of the Czech side of my family and counted 21 girls. Out of those girls, 5 were named Marie and 6 were named Anna. I asked my grandfather about “Marie” and he asked which one. I said “the Marie with a husband named Jan and a daughter named Anna.” I then paused realizing there were three girls named Marie who had a husband named Jan and a daughter named Anna.
