Peggy
WDYT of the nickname Peggy?

My neighbor's name. Because I think she's pretty great, liking the name trails behind that. Always though it vaguely cute, though, now it just has more moxie.
It's cute, but I prefer it as a name on its own. Could it work as a nickname for Pelagia?
I like it a lot: never met one, the world is full of Maggie (yawn) and Margie (yuck) people, but I'd really like to.
BTW, in South Africa anyway, Margie is pronounced with a G, not a J. All the references to it, that I've ever seen, give it the J sound as in margarine; which I find counter-intuitive.

Horrendous.
So cute and spunky!
I’m surprised so many people seem to dislike it, it seems perfectly harmless to me.

It's cute I guess but I find it a bit icky.
Definitely one of the worst nicknames for Margaret. It sounds so... old. And unnervingly close to "piggy".
I used to hate it, but now I think it's super cute! I feel like any character who is called Peggy has pluck and determination in spades, so that really shines the name up for me. It's a retro spitfire sort of name, and I like that.
It's ok
It's very cute and delightfully retro.
