Great-grandmother and her sisters' names
Replies
Mary Emiline Elizabeth - Mary and Elizabeth are lovely; I prefer Emily to all versions of Emiline.
Lucy Irene - Lucy is great; I assume Irene would have two syllables? Lucy Ireen is OK but I prefer iReenee which doesn't work with Lucy.
Nannie Imogene - Nannie is awful, and Imogene is not nearly as good as Imogen. Nancy Imogen would be delightful.
Winnie Pearl - I dislike nns as fns; Winifred Pearl would be better, though I don't like either.
Virginia Florence - I'd prefer Florence Virginia for the rhythm, and because I prefer Florence to Virginia.
Pansy Ella - No. Just, no. I dislike both names and also the way they run together.

Lucy Irene - Nice
Winnie Pearl - cute. It reminds me of Minnie Pearl (HOW-DEE!)
Virginia Florence - My favourite combo

Nannie Imogene is so charming! I'm also partial to Pansy Ella.
