For the sake of the children, I wish I was Head of a Name Committee and I had the power to reject tragic names like this one. Boy, would I be strict about over-the-top spellings.

It's not such a bad idea. Small countries like Iceland and Denmark have strict naming laws -- mainly to preserve their cultures and sense of national identity -- but when a country is as diverse as the United States, naming gets a bit messy. I say you can name your kid whatever you want as long as it's not something tragic like "Braxxalynnleigh" or just stupid like "Burger King."
