I think we did pretty well. All honouring.
Child 1: Peter David Alastair. For two days in one holiday when he was about 6 he told his new friends that his name was David, but didn't stay with it. Last year I told him that he would probably have been Ian, but because of a family divorce it wasn't possible; he was seriously startled!
Child 2: Caroline Beatrice Mary. I'd wanted to name her Lucy but it didn't suit her, so I worked through a Names book until I found one that did. Her mns honour her grandmothers.
Child 3: After Caroline's death, we were fortunate to have a second daughter: Beatrice Elizabeth Anne. We wanted to use one of her late sister's names, and Beatrice was everyone's choice. My late mother disliked her name, but we didn't! Beatrice is mostly known as Bea, her choice.
