Leo is ok. I don't particularly like the lion reference, though.Orso, Orsino, and Lupe would be OK, but I dislike Ursus and Lupus. I like Aquila.I think these would be ok: Taurus, Tauro, Taurino, Taurinus, Gallo, Delphino, Delphinus

Leo, maybe.
Orso is alright maybe. I like Ursula.Lupus sounds icky, but I think Lupellus would work (wolf-cub).Aquila, Tigris, Porcius: also not exciting to me.
I prefer Lope to Lupus and Ursinus to UrsusThere’s also Corvus/Corvinus and Aquila
I forgot about Aquila. I haven't seen Corvus used IRL recently or historically, only in fantasy.
Sometimes it’s nice to explore names outside of real world usage too :)
Yeah.
Though it has been used some in the US. Not much but at least 2-3 dozen times since 2018.

I only like Leo for a human. The Prince and Princess of Wales had a black spaniel named Lupus. A great name for a dog as is Ursus, Pardus and Phocas.
Ursus is very cool. Pavo ("peacock") also appeals. My beloved Latin teacher was named Mrs. Pavao.
