Waynette & what would your name be?
Came across this name while watching Netflix. It's a new one for me! I thought it was kinda cute in a very clumsy, twangy way. Thinking of it as Wayne + ette isn't so great, but Way + nette makes me think of Wynette, which is fun. When I see a clunky feminization like this, I always assume it's a daughter named after her father. If I had been named after my dad, my name would have been Bernadette, or maybe Bernardine, if we wanted something really awkward! If you had been named after the parent of the other gender, what would your name have been??

I would be RobertRupert or Ruben after my mum Roberta nicknamed ruby
Johanna Christina which is alright albeit old fashionedMy father was named after his aunt Johanna Christina

Oh neat! It came full circle again, I like that.
My grandma was named after her father. He was Patrick, she is Patricia. It would have worked just fine for me, because my dad is Michael. I could have been Michaela, which I like.
My mother is named Catherine; I found that the male equivalent is Cathrinus. I don't particularly like that at all, lol.
TimotheaMy mom has even called me Timothea on occasion, half-jokingly, if she thinks I'm acting too much like my dad. :-PI personally think Timea is much nicer, if I had to choose a name like this.
Waynette is interesting. I met a guy named Wiley today - I can imagine Wiley and Waynette as siblings.
Bryanna, Bryony, Kendra, Kenina
Bryony Kendra / Bryony Kenina seems nice to me (at least as good as my actual name!), but Bryanna / Bryana would be depressing.

I'd have been Cecily, and I really wish I was. Timeless, cheerful and pretty - what's not to like? I'm comfortable with my actual names, but Cecily Beatrice, after both parents, would have pleased me more.
Wynette is cuteMine would be Artura, Arturina, or Arturia maybe. The latter is not bad.I saw a character named Benedictine and I kind of love it.
My dad is Gary. Would I have been Garett, or would it have to be made up? Garia?
My dad’s name is Roger, so there is NO good outcome of that.
Cecille, Cecilia, or Cecily after my dad Cecil. My niece's middle name is Cecille in honor of him but I think I like the other two better.
Steven so I guess Stefanie, Stevie or something along those lines. My younger sister was named after my dad and is Stefanie.
I love Bernadette (and Bernadine)!Waynette is pure twang and quite fun.My mom was Amy, so maybe I’d have been Amyas, which I love (stress on the first syllable). Amis?

My dad's name is Roy. Not a lot to work with here. Maybe Royal?
Be ambitious: be Regina!
Royse or Roya are possibilities
My dad's name is "Bob" so I would be something like: Roberta, Robertina, Rupertina, Bobbie, Robina, Robena, Ruperta, Birdie, Roberte
I think Robertina is the most awkward one. 'Robert' and 'Tina' are such complete opposite names!
ETA: If I was a boy named after my mom it would be something like Teresio or Teresius (like Tiresias but as a male form of Theresa?)

My dad is Michael so I would have been Michelle, Michaela or Michaelina. My sister's middle name is Michelle after him actually. Michelle is kind of cute. Don't like Michaela or Michaelina

Lynn or Lynette - my dad is Lynn.Best I've ever come across is Webblynn.

Webblynn sure is fun!I always had a soft spot for Lynette. I think it's really sweet, it makes me think of little songbirds.
I've met a Kevina and a Johnette, both of with are far better than Waynette. In my case, I'd be Sybil. I prefer the spelling Cybill, though.
I think Waynette is kind of cute- in a twangy sort of way as you said. My friend's mom is Ruthella which actually gives me the same vibe even though it's not a feminization. She was from Appalachia so that may be influencing that vibe.My dad is Paul, so I could have been Paula, Pauline, or Paulette.
Yeah, Ruthella does have the same vibe! I quite like that actually.
I'll have to use my stepfather's name. His name is Larry, not short for Lawrence. So I guess I'd be Larreen? *barf* Larita?
Or just Laura or Lauren.
Myla or Mylie
Don't like waynette at allRicardine, Richenda but I'd prefer Richelle
