Hertha
What do you think of this dusty German name? It bothered me for a while that it arose from a misreading of Nerthus in Tacitus's Germania, but now I find its origin charmingly quirky, so I'm quite taken with the name. Also, I searched for it on Wikipedia and discovered some cool namesakes: Hertha Ayrton (a polymathic scientist and suffragette who changed her name to Hertha to honor the eponymous heroine of a Swinburne poem against organized religion), Hertha Feist (a German expressionist dancer), and several actresses and scientists.
Because I'm not German, I'm inclined to pronounce it like HUR-tha, which I'm sure most people will hate, but I find it nurturing (because of it's evocation of the hearth).

I hate it. I've noticed that most H names are bad, in my opinion.
Reminds me of the word hearth or the name Bertha. I would prefer Hestia I think.
I discovered Hertha via a non-playable character from the video game Genshin Impact, being borne by a female from Mondstadt (region based on Germany). Since then, it has struck me as a clever, wintry name.
But I like the association with the word hearth, and now I think it's an otherworldly grandma name. I hope it becomes popular again in the German-speaking world, just like Ida, Clara, Mathilda and Frieda made a huge comeback.
From your combos, I like:
Hertha Rosemary
Hertha Cecily
Hertha Eulalie
Hertha Daphne
Hertha Rosamund
Hertha Imogen
Hertha Matilde
Hertha Rosalie
Hertha Louisa
Hertha Primrose
Hertha Emilie
Hertha Maude
Hertha Magdalena
Other combos:
Hertha Agnes
Hertha Aurelia
Hertha Beatrix
Hertha Charlotte
Hertha Cordelia
Hertha Eloise
Hertha Emmeline

Hi!
I would love Nertha or Nerta because they are more similar to the original Nerthus.
I agree with you that Hertha is warmy and familiar because also the word 'earth' share the same root. To me Hertha is similar to 'heart' too so all there words (hearth, earth, heart) make Hertha red, kind and cosy.
Out of your combos I like:
Hertha Rose(mary)
Hertha Amy
Hertha Eulalia
Hertha Euphemia
Hertha Rosamund
Hertha Rosalind
Hertha Irene
Hertha Imogen (another classic misspelling!)

Hertha Primrose
Hertha Maud(e)
