Gender in names
If you had to shout a random name--first one that comes to mind, which gender would it take longer to?
Like "first girl name that comes to mind?" vs "first boy name that comes to mind?" vs "first unisex name that comes to mind?"
Well
1. what is the first name that comes to mind to you for each gender?
and
2. is there a certain gender of which you can shout out a name faster?
idk... I can think of random female names but it takes me a while to formulate an idea for a male name. Female names seem more creative, like you can end it in "a, i, ine, ea" whatever you want, but male names are so uniformed, it seems: "robert. richard. charles. leonard. alexander". all ick. and then out of nowhere, there's "Alistair, Ambrose, Wiley, Declan" i don't know.

The first names I'd think of yelling would be my children's. So, Beatrice and Peter. Doesn't prove anything, but it's accurate.
When I thought "name to say" the 1st things that came up were common unisex NNs - Chris, Alex, Sam, Max.
"girl name to say" - Hannah, Laura
"boy name to say" - Matthew, Patrick
I could shout boy names a little quicker maybe, since it's not as much like I'm being flooded with info when I call them to mind.
Trying it again...
"girl name" - Regina, Marigold
"boy name" - Pius, Galen
"first girl name that comes to mind?" Daria
"first boy name that comes to mind?" Darius
"first unisex name that comes to mind?" Dara
When I think "to say" I'm pretty sure I'm pulling names from memories of grade school. With the phrases you mentioned, it was harder to think of anything, and then once I did, I felt stuck. When I think just basic "girl/boy name" my thoughts are more scattered and also not related to memories so much.

I don't know why but I first thought of "Elizabeth", "Quinn" and "Jackson".
The first girl name that comes to mind for me is Isabella and the first boy name I think of is Charles. The first unisex name that comes to mind for me is always Alex. I think I can come up with a girl name faster than boy name
