That doesn't change a whole lot though. Just sounds like you're saying easel with weird enunciation.
You could say the same of Annette and 'a net'. The enunciation is different, but the vowel pronunciation is the same unless you're saying it properly, like Izel and easel.
With that logic, Isabel sounds pretty much like 'is a bull', but no one thinks that.
