I love it! It's beautiful.
I know a Sigrid who goes by Siggy. She's really sweet and a bit shy.
I like Ingrid more, but it's pretty!
I like Astrid and Ingrid better than Sigrid, but I like how Sigrid sounds and looks on paper - I get aloof but sensible vibes from it. To be honest, I wouldn't mind using it in real life.
My all-time favourite Scandinavian name. Of the -rid names, it comes out on top, followed by Astrid and finally Ingrid. I knew a naughty, sexy, unhappy Sigrid at school who grew up to be a highly successful counselling psychologist!
"Naughty, sexy, unhappy"—love this description! I'm happy for Sigrid.
I'm okay with the name itself, but it does sound a bit harsh to me personally. Names ending in -id aren't usually to my taste, though Sigrid is interesting.
I dislike names ending in "eed" and "id" generally. I don't like Ingrid, Sigrid, or Mildred. Astrid is kind of cool, though.
It's nice but prefer Ingrid then Astrid then Sigrid
I adore Sigrid. It's susurrant, hearty, and wintry.
Ditto.

I don't mind Sigrid but I do prefer Astrid and Ingrid. I think the Nordic sound of all three names is definitely an acquired taste. Some people find them too harsh sounding but I think there is a cool beauty in the sound of them.
