Re: Flowers and plants names -full list
Wow! That took a long time to look through. There's also Wintergreen, Euphrasia, Watsonsia, Brunonia, Stellaria, Peppermint, Vervain, Cardinal, Arjuna, Maize, Ashwaganda, Ginseng, Berry, Helichrysum, Vetiver, Eucalyptus, Shoshana, Hadassah, Sigalit, Rosewood, Clary, Nettle, May Chang, Mirta, Edera, Tulsi, Nevena, Myrto, Hibiscus, Niloufar, Litsea, Morning Glory, Peace Lily, Eleuthero, Ravensara, Tarragon, Tomatillo, Cilantro, Oregano, Cayenne, Bergamot, Damiana, Amyris, Melaleuca, Cajeput, Celery, Fennel, Redbud, Kudzu, Sumac, Sumire, Tobacco, Garbanzo, Chicory, Arugula, Linaria, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Sweetpea, Torenia, Quesnelia, Muscari, Bougainvillea, Rhodanthe, Douglas (fir), Helga (Austrian pine), Ponderosa, Davana, Gladiola, Narcissa, and Trillium, if you want to add any of those. Plus Simbelmynë, if fictional flowers count. Sorry if any of those were on there and I missed them.

I'm entertained by the idea of Broom as a flower name. Hyacinth has been on my mind lately. It used to sound way OTT to me and now mostly seems pleasant.Mariposa is slang (I guess similar to Pansy or Pixie?). I liked it years ago. Lately I think Butterfly is cool, and that's probably weirder.I've met people named Velvet, Mahogany, Dove, Laurel, Magnolia, Rowan, Ebony, Gardenia, Ginger, Alyssa, Rose, Rosa, Rosemary, Jade, Jasmine, Ivy, Lily, Melissa, Viola, Hazel, Holly, Helen, Heath, Heather, Veronica, Erica, Daphne, Marguerite, Ursula, Musa, Bay, Timothy, William, Susan, Jamesia, Maryam, Sharon, Piper, Cornel, Reed, Herb, and Marigold. My grandma's MN was Azalea (I like it). There's a guy named Almond a few generations back in my family tree; BtN tells me that coincides with a rare German name (Almund). I have an aunt-by-marriage named Kiwi; I notice that's not on your list, but it's probably a good thing.

These are ones I have a moderately/strongly negative reaction to when I imagine calling someone by them: Nightshade, Nymphaea, Ornus, Peaches, Peanut, Periwinkle, Lobelia, Mango, Mignonette, Narcissus, Phlox, Pimpernel, Pine, Prune, Crocus, Cocoa, Elder, Kaki, Jurema, Chestnut, Chili, Clematis, Calla, Clove, Columbine, Strawberry, Syringa, Eucharis, Bower, Honeysuckle, Acorn

Ones I haven't mentioned yet that I would maybe like to meet a person named...Pleione, Pansy, Lunaria, Oleander, Patchouli, Maple, Mint, Marjoram, Murraya, Poinsettia, Plumeria, Rhodora, Cherry, Cynara, Spruce, Daffodil, Russelia, Corymbia, Sunflower, Lilac, Thyme, Tulip, Thistle, Verbena, Vitaliana, Skylark, Sequoia, Sycamore, Winika, Nepeta, Woodsia, Yarrow, Nolana, Mazarine, Nigella, Zahara, Zenobia, Zinnia, Apple, Amaryllis, Amaranth, Basil, Coriander, Cordia, Poppy, Nandina, Mirabelle, Mallow, Mulberry, Phoenix, Nicandra, Elm, Nellia, Prunella, Daisy, Dandelion, Chamomile, Crimson, Shasta, Snowbell, Bean, Bryonia, Bryony, Tourmentine, Gentian, Gentiana, Bluebell, Barley, Hemlock, Hawthorn, Willow, Briar, Calendula, Carnation, Cassia, Orchid, Peony, Cedar, Celandine, Edelweiss, Fabiana, Calypso, Fern, Foxglove, Larkspur, Genista, Gale, Artemisia, Gloriosa, Lemon, Heliotrope, Hyssop, Saffron, Rye, Honesty, Iris, Jessamine, Juniper, Justicia, Liatris, Nemesia, Nyssa, Oak, Lotus, Peregrina, Persea, Persimmon, Madonna, Menodora, Petunia, Plum, Primrose, Primula, Quince, Raphia, Rapunzel, Rhubarb, Rivina, Robinia, Rúbia, Rue, Citrus, Clover, Cypress, Dahlia, Daylily, Delphinium (Delphine), Dianella, Sorrel, Strelitzia, Tangerine, Tansy, Taro, Valerian, Angelica, Wedelia, Wisteria, Yesenia, Calytrix, Camellia, Belladonna, Irupé, Kalmia, Lavender, Linden, Liriope, Sassafras, Ancanthus, Vinca, Violet, Indigo, Yoshino, Andromeda, Anise (Anisa), Arethusa, Aubrieta, Augusta, Astraea, Olive, Rosalba, Chrysanthemum, Ambrosia, Mimosa, Nerine, Naranja, Acacia, Agave
