Sibset Indi, Ocean, and Ever WDYT?
This week a TikTok “mom influencer” and former convict gave birth to her third child. WDYT?

Very modern. I don't dislike it as a whole, but I would have used Indie because it looks better/more finished than Indi. I love Ocean as a name. Its soothing and ethereal. I don't like Ever, but it matches the dreaminess of the other names quite well. I probably would have replaced it with another modern E name though, like Ever or Emerald... Essence? I like all of those better than Ever. If it were a boy, he'd be Everett, Eli or Evan. :)Her being a TikTok influencer and former convict does not influence my opinion on her choices, but I would say that influencers are generally more creative and open-minded about names, so I don't find her choices jarring.
It's giving "look at me, I'm so cool, so down to earth, so natural by giving my kids weird wanna-be-hippie sounding names". I bet 3 fishsticks she has a Buddha statue on her front porch and her kids clothes are labelled 'boho' on Shien where she buys them. The critisize them individually, I think Indie is a pretty dumb sounding name to start off, if I'm being brutally honest, and unless it's short for something reasonable, it does not work well for an adult. Indi looks even worse. The only step lower would be Bodhi. Ocean I think is a little too 'look at me, so different, so natural', but I don't hate it as much as the others. I could tolerate it.
Ever sort of fits into the category influencer moms who give their kids words too advanced for their vocabularies with the most random meanings because they think it sounds alternative, sophisticated and different. I don't think ever is that sophisticated a word, but they must think it sounds cool?

i just looked it up and found her instagram. some people just put too much out on the internet that they should be keeping to themselves.
She wouldn't influence me!
Don't like any of the names
I like Ocean, but with Indi (and why is it not Indie?), I immediately think of the Indian Ocean. I feel like Atlas or Geo works better than Ever - or Everest, but maybe that was too long.

I like some word names but these three aren't among them. The sibset has a "trying too hard to be cool" vibe.
Agreed. I tire of these 'look at me!" type names. Got to wonder if it's a form of Munchausen by proxy.
