Spelt like that, it looks like a mineral or chemical - chlorine, taurine etc.

I think Maureen is very "grandmotherly". I prefer Moreen

Agree. It’s the name of my husband’s grandma and I like it but it just doesn’t seem like it will lose the grandma vibe anytime soon 😓
