Edgar - It's a stereotypical meme, so maybe skip it if your of Latin background.Johanna - Pretty, solid name.Konstantinos - A very long name, but very handsome sounding.Veronica - Gorgeous in its full form, without the nickname "Ronnie". Priscilla - Every girl named Priscilla that I've met has been wonderful. I love this name and it's gracefulness.Clare - A medieval name with modern tractions; it's lovely, in my book!
I only like Ronnie. I went ahead and moved Veronica out of the main list and switched Ronnie to a nickname for Saffron. But yes, I seem to be the outlier with loving Ronnie and disliking Veronica!
It's understandable! I can get the appeal of Ronnie, I just like Veronica without a nickname. Ronnie sounds very spunky and upbeat, on a girl. As a nickname for Saffron, it's nice!
Honestly, I think Ronnie makes a better nickname for Saffron!
Edgar - oddly appealing, as good as Edward, better than Edmund.
Johanna - charming, appealing.
Konstantinos and "Kostas" - don't like it even though I do like Constantine. Kostas is okay, but not great.
Veronica and "Ronnie" - love Veronica, despise Ronnie.
Priscilla - Don't care for it.
Clare - pleasant.
Edgar - unpleasant sound. Edward and Edwin are better. Remove.
Johanna - not a fan. It's one of the duller, non-descript classics. I prefer Joanna. Remove.
Konstantinos - sounds very medieval and not usable. But if this is just an aesthetic list, you can keep this. I do think it's a nice name!
Veronica - beautiful name! I think it's very elegant with a sassy edge. I hate Ronnie, though.
Priscilla - I used to think this name was beautiful, but now I think it sounds whiny and stuck-up. Remove.
Clare - I don't like that spelling; it looks weird. I love Claire, though. Remove.
Just an aesthetics list :)
Slay! That's what mine is too, hehe.
Edgar is a pretty alright name. Has a more gothic vibe than the other "Ed" names, in no small part to its association with Edgar Allen Poe. Maybe a bit too gothic, I think I like Edward just a touch more.
Johanna is okay but it feels very dull. Not much energy comes off it.
Konstantinos is very strange. Probably wouldn't fit in well with a modern-day or english setting. Reminds me of "Constantinople", which just brings me back to the song by They Might Be Giants. As for Kostas, it reminds me of the word "Coast" which I actually kind of like.
I personally like the name Veronica a lot, but I don't have much to say about it. As for Ronnie, I don't mind it as a nickname, but it has a pretty nasty namesake in Ronnie Radke.
Priscilla is almost comically frilly and dainty. I couldn't imagine meeting somebody with the name who isn't like, an actual princess. If you're really set on a "Pri" name, I'd recommend Primrose as I think it looks better and sounds less snooty.
Clare is okay, but I prefer the spelling Claire. No good reasons except for thinking it looks better, but Clare definitely has personality.
Probably why I like Edgar. Edward also feels kind of goth to me because of Twilight hahaRadke's not too bad. He's an AH but hasn't done anything heinous enough to ruin the name imo. I also don't think most people even know who he isPriscilla reminds me of Priscilla Presley. Cool pretty girl vibes personally, less frills and stuff. :)
When I think of Edward my mind goes to Edward Scissorhands. I guess Edward is a more gothic name than I give it credit for :)
Edgar - distant family name; not a favourite, I'd prefer Edward, nn Ed.
Johanna - pronounced you-a-HUN-a where I live, and pretty ordinary. In English, I like Joanna.
Konstantinos and "Kostas" - only if you're Greek. I prefer Con as a nn.
Veronica and "Ronnie" - Ronnie is unattractive as a male or female nn, and Veronica is inconveniently long.
Priscilla - dainty, lively, pretty
Clare - the only spelling of this lovely name that I enjoy enough to use.
Edward's definitely my favorite Ed- name, with Edwin or Edmund being the least (though I still like all three). I've been stuck between finding Edgar cool or drab. Do you like Eddie?I knew a Greek family: DH: Kostas & DS's Kairos & Andreas. I really liked all of their names!I think I'm going to switch out Veronica "Ronnie" for Saffron "Ronnie"Clare feels too fragile to me sometimes, but not as fragile as Claire
Eddie is fine for kids but not for adults.I know a man with the most English of surnames imaginable: let's say, Harris. English father, Greek mother, fn Constantine, nn Con.Saffron is a beautiful colour, but I'd expect to find it in a recipe, not on a person.I find St Clare the very opposite of fragile! Claire bugs me in the same was as Isabelle: French spelling for no good reason.
You asked for it.Edgar: old man name. Also, Edgar Allen Poe had issues.
Johanna: plain and dull. Why not Josephine or Anna?
Konstantinos: The second T is said like a D. That's confusing and inconsistent. Constantin is better.
Kostas: Not a good nickname for Konstantinos and not that attractive altogether.
Veronica: stuck up and not that pretty.
Ronnie: kind of silly and unsubstantial. Sounds more like a boy NN anyway.
Priscilla: Why is it spelled that way?
Clare: pretty. Not as beloved as Clair or Claire I think, but still deserving.
Josephine's a little too prairie feeling for me, but I still do like it, just not enough for my main list. Anna is on my main list (and a pretty new addition at that). How do you feel about Josie?Constantine is also on my main list. I like the nickname Connie too. Constance "Connie" is also on my main list.
Josie is ok, goes along with Elsie, Sadie, Bonnie etc which are used in full especially UK

I think Josie is cute but it sounds a bit too youthful for me to like it as a full name. I also like Josey, the NN for males. :)
I've begun liking Constant and Constance more than I did years prior. They are old fashioned but sound fresh in comparison to other vintage names that have never left the charts.
Priscilla is a diminutive form of the Latin name Prisca (or Priscus for males), and would have been pronounced Pris-ka, Pris-kus or of course
Pris-ki-la. (Latin didn't have the letter k) In English, we've kept the spelling but dropped the k sound.
