A brother for Rachel and Emma — James, Patrick, Lucas, Seth, or Ian?
Replies
I think James fits best. Rachel, Emma, and James are all fairly subtle names.
Patrick has a lot of its own personality that kind of overshadows the subtle vibes of Rachel and Emma.
Lucas works too, but feels older than Emma at least. Maybe Luke or Luc on its own?
Seth has grown on me because of a specific person but I don't really like it as a name. I can almost see how it could work but then I feel like it clashes. What about Samuel, Simon, Soren, Seamus, Silas?
Ian is too short, curt, and... athletic (?) for this set.

Lucas and Patrick are best in my opinion. I like that makes all the names two syllables and they seem more stylistically in keeping than Seth or Ian.
1 Patrick
2 Lucas
3 James
4 Seth
5 Ian

3 James
4 Seth
5 Ian
This feels very 1980’s England to me, so I would use James. Not on your list but which I think goes perfect with Rachel and Emma is the name Paul.
Lucas is my favorite of these options, but it feels too predictable. I like Ian the best in the sibset.
Definitely not Lucas or Seth. James, Patrick and Ian would all work well. My favourite name of the three is Ian, then James, but in this sibset I think Patrick would be pleasantly surprising.
I'm on team Patrick, love that name. Rachel, Emma, and Patrick look very well together! I love the energy.
Lucas would also work well, and James, they kinda work anywhere.
Seth would be an interesting choice. Rachel, Emma, and Seth. Yes, I like that. I'm just blinded by Patrick's beauty, so I can't fully appreciate Seth.

Ian.
