Choose one of my favorite trendy names. I don't like very many modern-trendy names (I do like quite a few trendy classics, though).
Choose your favorite and least favorite and tell me why you like/dislike them. Comments on all names very much appreciated :)
Oakley - really growing on me, I like the tree association that Ashley has, but Ashley feels tired (still pretty, though)
Madison
Haley - hay-lee
Hadley
Everly, Everlee and Everleigh
Madilyn - I like how this sort of looks like Marilyn
Katelyn - I like Caitlin too but that doesn't feel as trendy
Renesmee - used to hate it, but my nostalgia is making me like it
Rain
Snow
Angel
Greyson and Grayson
Sawyer
Nox
Knox - does this count as trendy? It is too celeb associated so I prefer Nox
Sky
Riven - only because I have been watching Netflix and am sort of intrigued by it

Always had a love for Snow and Sky :)
They also make Bay, Silver and Saylor come to mind

rain and Snow I could be on board for, I thought you said you grew out of your nature name phase? Is it making a reappearance?
A little bit. I don't like as many as I used to.
Rain, Snow and Sky.
I used to like more: Willow, River, Meadow, Raven, Robin, Canyon, Desert (not kidding), Bloom etc.
I still like them, but not enough to use. Still love lots of flower/plant names, though. But I very normal ones like Lily, Holly, Poppy.

I love Willow and Meadow!
I prefer Tundra over Desert lol
Oakley has an unattractive sound, "oak". Oak by itself would be a nature name and sound less trendy.
I like Madison.
Haley is fine.
I dislike Hadley; D and L clash here.
Everly and variants don't sound that pretty to me, but it is better than Beverly. Not Kimberly, though. I like Ever more, but Ember and Amber are preferred.
Madilyn is an okay variant.
Katelyn is not too bad but I prefer Kaitlyn or Kaitlin if it must be a variant.
Renesmee looks strange and Renee and Esme do not mix as well as they were intended, too. Even Renee-Esme and Esme-Renee sound clunky. They're both really nice names, though.
I love Rain. Its a nature name!
Snow - same reason that I love Rain.
Angel - it sounds peaceful. I knew a good kid with this name. I hope they are doing well now.
Greyson and Grayson sound cool.
Sawyer - to be honest, I don't like the sounds in this one. "Aw" sounds are not that attractive to me (Aubrey, Audrey, Audley, Lawyer, Laura, Laurie). There are some exceptions, but not many at the top of my head.
Nox looks better than Knox - the K looks strange. I do like the way it sounds, though.
I love Sky.
I think Riven is cool but prefer River and Raven.

Aren't nature names just as trendy? I mean, we've got Juniper, Wren, River, and Rain rising up the charts, not to mention how many flower/plant names are already in the top 200.
Favourites from your girl list:
Hadley - I think this name is snappy and chic. I like the idea of Haddie as a nickname as well.
Everly - I like that it's Beverly reborn, and that Evie is a nickname option. It has a retro flair to it that I like. Everleigh is pretty too, but I enjoy the tidiness of Everly.
Faves from boy list:
Sawyer - even though this one makes me think of sour milk and sawdust a bit, it also makes me think of buttermilk, and pancakes, and the smell of fresh cut wood, and the colour of wooden furniture and how warm and homey it is, and then I think of sunny mornings at a warm wooden kitchen table and I've accidentally made myself happy. Thanks Sawyer!
Least favourite:
Madilyn - I like other spellings of this name so much more, and I'm not into Marilyn anyway.
Knox - feels weirdly right wing and aggressive.

I think Angel is really pretty, and I've always been fond of the Madilyn spelling.
Katelyn is pretty and better than most spellings, but I think I still prefer Caitlin.
I hate all spellings of Everly and Oakley because I just think the names sound dumb, as most trendy -ley and -lynn names do.
Haley is one of the worst spellings, in my opinion. I prefer Hayley, Hailee, Hailie, Hailey, and Haylee, in that order.
Sawyer is an ugly name to me, but I'm not sure why. I've noticed I tend to either adore or despise names that end with R, with very little in between.
Yes, Knox is trendy. It's another surname used as a first name, a trend I'm not a fan of.

I was wondering if it had some usage in the past as it was in "The Dead Poets Society", but I guess it was just a surname-firstname thing even then.
