I've long admired Sidonia but balked at its proximity to Sedona, Arizona (and its rich-hippie connotations); however, if I pronounce Sidonia with three syllables ("si-DON-ya," the second syllable of which rhymes with "lone" or "cone"), the name sounds less like a place to me. What do you think? I admire its noble saintliness.
