Millicent or Mildred?
Millicent for me. Mildred is harsher.

I don’t care for either but I’d have to say Millicent is prettier.
Milly and Millie are both so cute.
Mildred is a form favourite of mine. Millicent reminds me of the children's book series "Milly-Molly-Mandy". I find it prissy and fragile.(As an aside, it's two halves of millipede and centipede. Ew!)
i prefer millicent, but i think mildred gets too bad a rap. it *does* sound harsh, but i don't think it's impossible to pull off
Since I don't like Mildred, I'll choose Millicent.
Mildred reminds me of mildew and I can't unhear it. It's also hopelessly dated. So, Millicent.I like Millicent, anyway. It's very bright and cheerful. I was first introduced to the name when a friend of mine played a character named Millicent in a play, and it was my favorite long form of Millie / Milly for a while. Maybe it still is, I haven't thought about it.Milly and Millie are adorable.
I much prefer Millicent to Mildred.Millicent reminds me of the words "innocent", "magnificent" and "million". I think it has a vintage charm with an underlying sweetness. Bonus: The nickname Millie is adorable. The first syllable of Mildred is appealing but the second syllable is unattractive (it's close to "dread") and ruins the sound of the name.

I like the name Millicent. I think it's beautiful and elegant. Mildred is just ugly.
I adore Millicent, it's an old childhood love of mine, from a storybook I had! But Mildred is so cool. It's so gothic. And so hated, like a misunderstood villain. For a pet, Mildred for sure. For a person, Millicent.
I dislike them about equally.
I don't like either, agree Mildred is harsh, both old fashioned
I love both but prefer Millicent. I'm newly fond of Mitzi as a nickname for it.
Same. Millicent if I absolutely had to. Mildred is worse.
