Jane is Pretty and classical. A partner would have to make a real case of it for me to consider using it on a daughter as-is but I would consider it paired with a double. But only if Jane was the first name instead of the second name. (Mary-Jane just just feels too cutesy and trite to me for instance. When I was younger I was really into Jane Margaret for a while. Jane Margaret said in full. To me it makes me think of the late middle ages / Tudor era. A noble woman or a courtier.Please rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.

Interesting, I actually prefer Jane to be second. I especially like Sarah Jane.
yeah Mary Jane / Sarah Jane just feels very cutesy and trite to me. Like the names of an example woman from an instruction manual from 1953.
