I'd like to see Claudette, Frederica, Joan, Myrtle, Pansy, and maybe even Gladys come back. (Yes I know Pansy is doomed)
Frederica especially seems like it could be popular now.

I'm not sure why Pansy is doomed. It's very similar in sound to Daisy.
Just because of the slang. Otherwise it would be similar to Daisy, Tansy, Violet, etc.
I like Sherry and Tammy, but am not disappointed by possible extinction.
I personally hate the names like that, not going to lie.
Joan?
That makes me sad. My one year old niece's middle name is Gertrude - Cecilia Gertrude. I can see Cheryl making a comeback of sorts, but the rest probably will die out.

I personally can't see Cheryl making a comeback. Not because it's "dated," but I don't think it's viewed as a good/attractive name.
I agree with what you said about girl names on the brink of extinction. Especially Debbie. From my observations, nicknames as full name tend to be short-lived. So I'd like to add Babs, Barb, Barbie, Pat, Patsy, and Patti/Patty to this list. Moreover, these are nicknames for Barbara and Patricia (It's fell out of the top 1000), which are currently considered grandmother's names and are therefore unpopular.
