I think I grew up in an enclave where Heathers were still being born until pretty recently, even into the late 90s. It's a nice name, soft but not limp at all.
I really love the name Heather and find it to be such a beautiful name. I think that it deserves more recognition, nowadays.
One of the very few flower names I like. Dated to the 1950s where I live, but none the worse for that.
I think it's a very pretty name, and I generally don't like the th sound in names. Heather has a soft, warm, gentle sound, but it also sounds lively and fun. It's definitely a very seventies-eighties name and it peaked and fell quickly, as names go, but its floral/nature vibe itself wouldn't be out of place with all the Lilys and Violet and Willows.
I like this.
It's fine.
Nice
Heather is pretty. I like this.
I love Heather. I think it's a beautiful name. I love the botanical element and while the 80s factor is strong, it doesn't bother me.
Nice name.
I think it's becoming a bit old fashioned, but still pretty
